As part of WORLD's #WORLDxBHM campaign for Black History Month, we will be showcasing select films through a live social screening via the OVEE platform--a public media player for live online presentations. Also, stick around after the screening for an Q&A immediately following the documentary. Viewing begins 7:00PM Eastern // 6:00PM Central Time

GOV performance at Pattonville High School

Gentlemen of Vision will be performing at Pattonville High School for the African American Achievers Society 2nd Annual Black History Program.

The theme of their program is, “The Playlist.” The goal is to show that African Americans have a rich history of cultural influence in the United States that extends into the fields of art, science, law, education, political activism, and beyond.

Performance at MO History Museum

This event is a 2-day event on Saturday, January 13 and Monday, January 15.

Bring your family to the Museum to celebrate and reflect on the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Take part in Youth Activism and Engagement Workshops to discuss how to make a difference in your community, join a movement workshop to explore Dr. King’s March on Washington, get creative with peace-inspired art projects, and dive into St. Louis history by exploring the #1 in Civil Rights exhibition using Family Gallery Guides. The MLK Family Celebration is designed for youth ages 14 and under. The first 100 youth in attendance each day will receive a free storybook.
